{"id":11789,"date":"2018-02-28T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-02-28T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/southafricajournal.com\/?guid=5e99ded73dd1f924f6d7f47f88e3cfaf"},"modified":"2018-02-28T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2018-02-28T00:00:00","slug":"science-and-technology-committee-deliberates-on-research-foundation-amendment-bill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southafricajournal.com\/science-and-technology-committee-deliberates-on-research-foundation-amendment-bill\/","title":{"rendered":"SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE DELIBERATES ON RESEARCH FOUNDATION AMENDMENT BILL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><P> The Portfolio Committee on Science and Technology today deliberated on the National Research Foundation Amendment Bill, which seeks to provide for the promotion of research and human capacity development in the various fields of science and technology, including in the humanities, social sciences and indigenous knowledge.<\/P><P>Further, the Bill seeks to provide for the establishment of a National Research Foundation to support, advance and promote science engagement;
