Various fines such as illegal gambling, public drinking issued and searches of illegal liquor outlets were also conducted.<\/p>\n<p>A 22-year-old suspect was arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm and presumably stolen laptop at Bagdad Salvakop in the early hours of Saturday morning. The arrest comes after the police were doing stop and searches in that area.<\/p>\n<p>Drug use remains one of the station&#8217;s major mandates to minimize trading and use of illegal substances. These has led to a number of 10 suspects being arrested for possession of drugs.<\/p>\n<p>Brigadier Dladla was very pleased with the outcomes of the operation. He further urged the community to report crime and assures them that their safety will be the station&#8217;s priority.
