The US ambassador Robert Godec hosted Kenya’s top entertainment personalities during the launch of Tusimame, an anthem calling for awareness on the poaching of elephants for ivory.
\nThe single is part of South Sudan singer Emmanuel Jal’s campaign against the destruction of Africa’s heritage and for the protection of Africa’s elephant titled #StandForElephants.
\nJal is joined by other musicians like Kenya’s Juliani, Tanzania’s Vanessa Mdee and Congo’s Syssi Mananga.
\nThe worldwide release of Tusimame is performed in Kiswahili, Nuer, Chinese, English, French and Lingala. The four performed at the ambassador’s residence.
