NORTHERN CAPE – Members\nof the Kimberley Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit\narrested three suspects this afternoon in connection with the case of rape and\nrobbery. The suspects are aged between 20 and 22 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is alleged this\nmorning at about 04:30, a 28-year-old woman was walking home in Kimberley when\nattacked by three men. It is reported she was dragged into the veld where she\nwas raped by the two while the third one robbed her of her tablet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The suspects were\narrested this afternoon at about 12:30. The robbed tablet has not yet been\nrecovered and police are following some leads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The suspects will appear\nbefore the Kimberley Magistrates court soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Provincial Head of\nFamily Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit, Brig Nicky Mills has\napplauded members for their swift response which led to the arrest of the three\nsuspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
