EASTERN CAPE \u2013 Nqabisile\nGideon Mhluzana (45) appeared at the East London court on Tuesday for alleged\nR500 000 fraud following his arrest last week Saturday by the Serious\nCommercial Crime Investigation of the Hawks in East London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is alleged that on 09\nFebruary 2019, Mhluzana submitted fraudulent documents which amongst others\nincluded a payslip, letter of employment and a stamped bank statement at a car\ndealership in East London in order to secure a car loan. The bank approved the\nloan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Towards the end of the\nyear 2019 the Serious Commercial Crime Investigation alerted banks warning them\nabout the activities of an alleged syndicate which was creating and submitting\nfraudulent documents in order to secure vehicle finance. Consequently, one of\nthe banks come forward with information which allegedly implicated Mhluzana in\nthis criminal activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
