It is alleged that they claimed an amount of R1.8 million for the road construction that was never done in the Umzikhulu area in 2013.<br \/>\nPillay and Dennis were arrested by Hawks members from Durban Serious Corruption Investigation unit on Wednesday for fraud and corruption.  The pair was granted R5000 bail pending their next court appearance on 15 October 2020.
