{"id":7727,"date":"2016-11-23T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-11-23T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/southafricajournal.com\/?guid=7f227687029f5e65db73e5c58604312f"},"modified":"2016-11-23T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2016-11-23T00:00:00","slug":"basic-education-launches-partnership-on-teacher-development-centres-in-benoni","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southafricajournal.com\/basic-education-launches-partnership-on-teacher-development-centres-in-benoni\/","title":{"rendered":"Basic Education launches Partnership on Teacher Development Centres in Benoni"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><P>Education sector partnership with UNISA ensures continued professional teacher development finds expression<\/P><P>The Department of Basic Education in partnership with the Department of Higher Education and Training as well as UNISA will on Friday 25 November 2016 launch a Partnership on Teacher Development Centres.<\/P><P>In attendance will be Mr Enver Surty, Deputy Minister of Basic Education, UNISA Chancellor, Prof Mandla Makhanya who will jointly launch the partnership geared at enhancing teacher&#8217;s appreciation of technology and helping them blend it into the classroom.<\/P><P>The Education Sector continues to make great strides in leveraging ICTs to strengthen teaching, learning and administration within the system.
