– New Contracts in the Republic of Montenegro, Western Sahara, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Expanding Company’s Global Reach

Some of the equipment in the new deals includes:

• XCMG’s XTR260 cantilever-type tunneling machine is working on the Republic of Montenegro’s north-south highway project, along with truck cranes, road rollers and land levelers.
• The company has sold an excavator, load digger and truck crane in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
• In Western Sahara, XCMG is focusing on the spare parts products that will support regional operations.

Of note, the XTR260 has played a pivotal role boring the Pajkov Vir tunnel portion of the Montenegro highway project. Its excellent performance during its six tunneling tasks is recognized as key to the project’s success in connecting the country to central Europe’s road network, which will provide a key boost to the country’s economic development.
