Danielskuil SAPS clamps down on drug dealing

Postmasburg: Efforts to eradicate drug trafficking along the main entrance and exit routes from and to Danielskuil, yielded positive results following the confiscation of dagga with an estimated street value of about R88 000,00, earlier today, 26 January 2019.

SAPS Members, Sergeant Nkaeleng Josop; Constable Lebogang Motshedi and Constable Nonoho Petrus were busy with patrol duties at Voter Registration Stations when they noticed two men acting suspiciously at the hiking spot near the Idwala intersection in Tlhakalatlou at approximately 14:00 today.

Upon searching the suspects and their belongings, the police found 10, 83 kg dagga in their possession.

The two suspects, aged 22 and 29 years old, were arrested and are expected to appear in the Postmasburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 28 January 2019 to face charges of dealing in drugs.
