Man arrested for dealing in dagga

The swift action of Ekurhuleni district West Police led to the arrest of a 42-year-old African male who was dealing in dagga in Tokoza area.
Members of Germiston flying squad and Crime intelligence held an intelligence driven operation and yielded good results this morning. The arrest came after a tip off from community members.
During the search in the premises, police confiscated 16 bags full of dagga to the estimated street value of R15000, 00.
Police also recovered R23620, 00 in cash believed to be the proceeds of dealing in dagga.
The station commander Colonel DC Bandenhost commended the members for the job well done in the arrest of the perpetrator.
Suspect will appear at Palm ridge magistrate court soon.
