EASTERN CAPE – Uitenhage police is seeking the community’s assistance in the investigation of an attempted murder which allegedly took place on Friday evening, 06 September 2019 at about 22:00, outside the VW SA plant in Algoa Road in Uitenhage.

According to police information, the victim (age unknown) was walking to the pedestrian gate of the factory when shots were fired at him. Information and details are sketchy and a statement is yet to be obtained from the victim. He was transported to hospital prior to police arrival.
