CAPE TOWN – The Anti-Gang Unit members are making progress in their pursuit to disarm gangsters. Last night the members operationalized information regarding the possession of a firearm which led them to 3rd Avenue where a 35 year old suspect was arrested with a prohibited 9mm pistol, six rounds of ammunition and an assortment of drugs.

The suspect will remain in custody until his court appearance in Cape Town on Monday where he will face charges for the possession of a prohibited firearm and drugs.
