Two suspects arrested for business burglary and theft

KIMBERLEY – In an effort to curb burglaries in the province, police in Nababeep arrested two male suspects.

It is alleged that on, 10 April 2021, an FM tower was broken into and several items were stolen including copper cables.

The members of Springbok K9 Unit and Nababeep detectives promptly reacted to the complaint through intensifying foot and vehicle patrols and the suspects were arrested approximately 40km away from the scene. Copper cable, vision cameras and a television to the value of R 447 000.00 were found in possession of the suspects.

Both suspects aged 25 and 46 are expected to appear before Nababeep Magistrates’ Court on 12 April 2021 on charges of business burglary and theft. Police investigation continues.
